Please bring canned goods to the event to support our food drive. We will have Foodshare containers for donations which will be shared for those going through hard times.

Thanksgiving Morning

November 24th, 2011

The 4th annual Ventura Turkey Trot presented by The Ventura Auto Center will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 24th. Bring your little ones for the Free Ventura Family YMCA Kids 1K. This years event is benefiting FoodShare, a nonprofit organization geared towards alleviating hunger in Ventura County. We ask participants to bring a canned or boxed food item to help someone in need.

Race Day Registration & Check-In - 7:00am

5K Start Time - 8:00am

1K Start Time - 9:00am

Raffle - 9:15am

Awards - 9:30am

Event Features

FOOD Share is a 501 (C) 3 not for profit dedicated to feeding, nourishing and educating the hungry of Ventura County, educating the community on those who are hungry and why, and advocating a reduction of the root causes of hunger.

How Our Food Bank Works
